We are looking for a field based network/telecoms engineer to visit clients sites and conduct audits/site surveys across the south of England. Were seeking candidates with a background in structured cabling and network troubleshooting supporting BT appointments. Role responsibilities: Visiting client sites daily, auditing and completing/creating floor plans site surveys and taking photos to reflect network layouts Liaising with the site contact arranging access for site visits required Installing & configuring wireless access points Create change control for the physical site changes including AP installation, Paxton changes, Printer changes etc. … Attending BT appointments on customer sites Installing, terminating, and testing network cabling Troubleshooting network issues and ensuring connectivity What we're looking for: Proven experience in network/telecoms engineering Experience conducting site surveys and audits Knowledge of IP ranges and various internet line types ethernet, SoGEA & SOADSL Networking knowledge (understanding of IP ranges and a good More ❯
