This role is based within the Electrical Engineering department, Assisted & Automated Driving (AAD) System Integration and Test Group, AAD Virtual Environment Development Chapter. The team is responsible for the design, delivery, and maintenance of various XIL Test Environments with different levels of complexity, from one ECU in the … laboratory environment, whilst adhering to the latest industry standards for test and simulation such as ASAM OpenX, and ISO26262. • The role is to develop XIL (MIL, SIL, HIL) test environments for AAD feature testing. • Successful integration of agreed AAD features on XIL Test Environment • Collect requirements, design, implement and deliver complex real time simulation models to run on virtual machine and HIL hardware. • Develop simulation strategy based on architecture defined by XIL solution architect to achieve the AAD virtual validation objectives. • Work closely with the Test Platform team, to ensure all proposed solutions are scalable and in line with the wider business guidelines for modelling and XIL test platforms. • Provide 2nd & 3rd level of support for XIL More ❯
