Carbon60 are currently recruiting for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join the UK's leading defence manufacturer on a 12 month contract basis to support the development of large range of products covering signal processing, core embedded processing systems and security critical systems. This position would ideally be based … hybrid basis however this contract position can also be done from either the businesses Bristol or Bolton site with occasional travel to Stevenage. This FPGA Design Engineer will get involved with all phases of the FPGA Design and verification. Responsibilities: Generating complex FPGA architectures and design implementations (VHDL, Simulink etc … targeting Xilinx, Intel, Microsemi devices. Verifying complex FPGA implementations using VHDL and System Verilog\UVM test-bench methodologies. Using FPGA design tool-sets and Mentor verification tools (QuestaSim & ModelSim).
