Office Manager
Office Manager
I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and rapidly expanding tech company that is seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager. This is a key operational role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced tech environment and enjoys keeping processes running efficiently across both admin and finance functions.
The Role
As the Office Manager, you will act as the central hub for the business—supporting leadership, coordinating daily operations, and managing essential administrative and financial tasks. Your role will be crucial in helping maintain smooth service delivery and ensuring the internal team and clients are consistently supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office administration and ensure a professional working environment
- Manage calendars, scheduling, and internal communication for the leadership team
- Support HR functions including onboarding, documentation, and employee coordination
- Handle supplier and vendor management, purchasing, and contract renewals
- Maintain accurate records across systems, including licences, assets, and client details
- Work closely with service delivery teams to support documentation, reporting, and workflow
- Manage basic finance and bookkeeping tasks, including:
- Raising and sending invoices using Xero
- Reconciling payments and monitoring outstanding invoices
- Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting
- Coordinating with the external accountant where required
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve internal processes
About You:
- Previous experience as an Office Manager or Administrator (IT sector experience is a strong advantage not not necessary)
- Comfortable handling basic finance tasks and using Xero
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Familiar with cloud-based tools—Microsoft 365 experience beneficial
- Able to work independently while being a strong team collaborator
What’s on Offer:
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- Opportunity to join a supportive, growing tech company with real career progression
- A varied and impactful role with both operational and financial responsibility
- Training and development opportunities, including support for additional certifications
If you’re a detail-oriented professional who enjoys a blend of administration and finance—and wants to make a real difference within a tech-driven business—I’d love to hear from you.
