Microsoft BC Developer - Leicestershire - c£60K

Anderson Frank are working with a well established multi-company organisation who is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to support and enhance their core ERP platform.

This role will play a key part in the implementation, development and long-term optimisation of Business Central across multiple business units. Initially, the focus will be on delivery of a major BC implementation, followed by ongoing development, integrations, and enhancements to support evolving business needs.

You will work closely with IT, third-party partners and stakeholders across the business, acting as a subject-matter expert for Business Central development and integration.

Business Central Development & Support

• Develop, customise and support the core Microsoft Business Central system

• Design and deliver system enhancements, integrations, releases and bug fixes

• Build and maintain integrations between Business Central and external systems

• Provide post-go-live support and hypercare to ensure smooth transition into BAU

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions

• Represent IT in meetings and workshops, providing clear and credible technical input

• Support the IT Service Desk with expert knowledge and knowledge transfer

Delivery & Governance

• Manage your own workload to meet agreed priorities and deadlines

• Ensure all development is fully tested and deployed in line with change and release processes

• Identify and manage overlapping or conflicting developments

• Support cost control for third-party development and ensure full solution cost awareness

Essential

• Strong, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

• 5+ years' experience developing Business Central using AL (VS Code)

• Experience working with Docker and source control / code repositories

• Proven ability to manage deadlines and balance development and support work

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Solid understanding of wider IT systems and integrations

• A quality-driven mindset with attention to detail

Desirable

• Experience with LS Retail

• Background in retail or multi-entity environments

• Experience working with SaaS Business Central
