Role Overview

As Senior Solutions Consultant for Assurance, you will be a senior, client-facing leader within Aveni’s pre-sales and proposition function, specialising in assurance, risk, compliance and RegTech-led use cases across enterprise financial services.

You will play a critical role in establishing credibility and trust with senior stakeholders (Risk, Compliance, Assurance, COO, Transformation), leading complex pre-sales engagements and shaping how Aveni’s products are positioned, demonstrated and evolved to meet real regulatory and assurance needs.

Operating in a product-led environment, you will translate customer assurance challenges into compelling solution narratives, shape demos and proofs of value, and feed structured insight back into the product roadmap to deepen product–market fit and expand use-case coverage.

About You

You are a senior solutions consultant or pre-sales professional with a strong RegTech or assurance background, experienced in selling sophisticated technology into enterprise financial services environments.

You are trusted in senior rooms. You know how to lead assurance-led conversations, challenge assumptions, and position products in a way that resonates with regulators, auditors, risk leaders and executives, not just technologists.

You likely bring a blend of:

• Product-led pre-sales experience
• Financial services / regulatory domain expertise
• Consulting-style rigour and structure
• Consulting experience is a plus, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assurance and compliance focused pre-sales engagements with enterprise FS clients, including discovery, workshops and solution shaping
• Establish credibility and trust with senior stakeholders, acting as a subject-matter expert across assurance, risk and regulatory use cases
• Shape and deliver tailored product playbacks, demos and proofs of value that align Aveni’s products to customer-specific assurance needs
• Translate customer assurance challenges into clear solution narratives, articulating value, risk reduction, compliance outcomes and ROI
• Collaborate closely with Sales on enterprise deals, supporting proposals, RFIs/RFPs and commercial shaping
• Act as a bridge between customers and Product, feeding structured insight into the roadmap to improve product fit and expand use-case coverage
• Help define and standardise assurance-led positioning, demo patterns and messaging for repeatable, scalable sales execution
• Stay current with regulatory developments, assurance expectations and RegTech trends to ensure Aveni remains credible and differentiated
• Mentor more junior solutions or pre-sales team members as the function scales

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Must-haves:

• Experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting or technical consulting within a product-led business
• Strong RegTech, assurance, risk or compliance background in financial services
• Proven experience selling into enterprise FS organisations
• Ability to establish trust and authority with senior stakeholders
• Skilled at shaping how products are positioned and “played back” to customers
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, especially for non-technical executive audiences
• Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Product and Engineering

Nice-to-haves:

• Consulting or advisory background
• Experience influencing or contributing to product roadmaps
• Familiarity with AI-enabled assurance, monitoring or compliance solutions
• Exposure to regulated deployment environments and governance frameworks
