Project Engineer – 12-Month Contract (Outside IR35)

I am partnering with a leading global accountancy firm that is currently undertaking an ambitious integration programme across multiple M&A pipelines. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join on an initial 12-month contract, operating fully remotely and outside IR35.
The RoleYou will play a key role in delivering infrastructure and services workstreams aligned to ongoing M&A activity. This position requires a strong blend of hands-on technical capability and structured project management experience, ensuring seamless integration across environments, systems, and services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support technical workstreams related to infrastructure integration across multiple acquisitions.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and technical SMEs to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Contribute to planning, execution, and delivery phases of integration projects.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve issues across infrastructure and services domains.
- Produce documentation, reports, and progress updates for stakeholders.
- Strong infrastructure and services background, ideally within complex or global enterprise environments.
- Proven experience supporting M&A integrations, migrations, or consolidation programmes.
- Solid project management capability with the ability to drive delivery and manage stakeholders.
