Finance Business Partner

We’re working with a growing business that’s expanding its software offering and looking for a confident, hands-on Business Partner to join a lean but friendly finance team. This role is ideal for someone with around 2–3 years’ PQE who enjoys variety, genuine business exposure and the chance to influence how things are done.

You’ll support teams across the UK and Europe, acting as a key link between finance and the wider business. The culture is collaborative, friendly and supportive with plenty of opportunity to make your own mark and add value. You will be working closely with both onshore and offshore colleagues.

What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?

  • Partnering with operational teams across multiple regions
  • Providing financial analysis, reporting and insight
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning
  • Reviewing performance and highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Working with offshore teams to ensure accurate and timely outputs
  • Helping build and document processes in a developing environment
  • Line management of two reports
  • You’ll have occasional monthly travel (1–2 days)

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner vacancy:

  • Fully qualified (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) with c. 2–3 years’ PQE
  • Strong communicator, confident building relationships at all levels
  • Comfortable working in a changing environment with developing processes
  • Experience in IT, Software, SaaS, long-term contracts or project accounting is a big advantage
  • Proactive, positive, and keen to add value
  • SAP experience helpful but not essential
