Systems Accountant - Hybrid, London

£65,000-£78,000k plus extensive benefits

A major UK public sector and government membership organisation is undertaking a significant modernisation of its financial systems and is seeking a skilled Systems Accountant to lead this transformation. This role sits at the heart of strengthening controls, improving processes and delivering high-quality system upgrades.

• Lead the upgrade and implementation of core finance systems, including expenses, purchase order and budgeting modules.

• Oversee system controls, user access and supplier management to ensure security, quality and value for money.

• Deliver effective training and support to users, ensuring consistent adoption across the organisation.

• Work closely with Finance, IT and project teams to ensure alignment and integration with wider system changes.

• Continually improve financial systems, documentation, controls and reporting processes.

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with strong systems accounting experience in a large organisation.

• Proven background delivering major system upgrades or implementations, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with reporting tools and Microsoft Office.

• Confident communicator able to train users and manage key supplier relationships.

• Collaborative, adaptable and comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines.
