Vendor Manager

Cedar are supporting an IT Managed Service Provider based in North Yorkshire who are looking to hire a Vendor Manager on a 18-Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). This role is offering a salary range of £65,000 up to £70,000 per annum (plus benefits). This role will operate on a hybrid basis with the split being in the office 1-2 days per week and the remainder from home. Our client is looking for someone to start in January 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the business through a key change which will see the organisation move to become an MSP and Data Centre business. In light of the change, an experienced Vendor/Procurement Manager is required to join the Procurement Team in order to oversee and deliver a range of internal projects supporting the transition services agreement and overseeing the relationship with Data Centres as a critical supplier, as well as tackling a number of procurement related cost saving initiatives. This role will be pivotal in coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring seamless transitions between suppliers, and embedding new contractual arrangements efficiently and effectively.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

  • Previous experience working in a Vendor Management or Supplier Relationship Management position, experience working in these roles within a technology and/or MSP environment would be highly desirable
  • Experience in managing transitions, supplier onboarding/offboarding, or service migration projects.
  • Experience operating/managing contracts and commercial teams
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to work at pace in a lively/fast paced team environment
