The Opportunity

A global organisation is looking to appoint a Finance Data Analyst to play a central role in building a consolidated finance data model and delivering consistent, high-quality reporting to Group and Regional CFOs.

This role sits at the heart of finance, data, and decision-making. You will work across multiple countries, finance teams, and systems to bring structure, transparency, and comparability to financial data that currently sits across disparate sources.

The Role

You will be responsible for designing and maintaining a global finance data model that enables accurate, timely, and meaningful reporting at group level. Working closely with local finance teams and senior stakeholders, you will translate complex financial data into clear insights that support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a consolidated finance data model across multiple countries and entities
  • Harmonise chart of accounts, reporting structures, and key finance definitions
  • Build and deliver group-level reporting for Global and Regional CFOs
  • Partner with local finance teams to understand source data, variances, and reporting requirements
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reconciliation across regions
  • Support month-end, forecast, and planning reporting with reliable data structures
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and management information with a clear CFO lens
  • Act as a bridge between finance, data, and technology teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Finance Data Analyst, Finance MI Analyst, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidation, and management accounts
  • Experience working across multiple countries or complex group structures
  • Ability to design logical, scalable data models for finance reporting
  • Strong SQL, Excel, and BI tool capability (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Comfortable engaging with senior finance stakeholders, including CFOs
  • Detail-driven, structured, and confident working with imperfect data

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting group finance, FP&A, or consolidation teams
  • Exposure to ERP systems and finance transformations
  • Background in international or matrix organisations
