Financial Analyst
FP&A Analyst
Location: Knutsford (Hybrid working available)
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Equity
Type: Full-Time | Permanent
About the Business
We’re a Private Equity-backed, high-growth SaaS business headquartered in Knutsford. With an ambitious buy-and-build strategy, we’re scaling rapidly both organically and through strategic acquisitions. Our platform is transforming how Technology operates, and we’re on a mission to become the market leader in our space.
Backed by a leading PE firm, we’re building a high-performing finance team to support this next stage of growth — and we're now looking for an exceptional FP&A Analyst with strong SaaS expertise to join us.
The Role
As our FP&A Analyst, you’ll play a central role in delivering accurate, insightful, and data-driven financial analysis across the group. You'll work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to drive performance, assess strategic opportunities, and support the integration of new acquisitions.
A strong understanding of SaaS metrics and recurring revenue models is essential for this role — you’ll be expected to build, analyse, and interpret performance data around KPIs such as ARR, MRR, NRR, CAC, LTV, and churn.
This is a high-impact, commercially focused role with exposure to executive leadership and private equity stakeholders.
Key Kesponsibilities
- Lead on key aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the group.
- Build and manage robust financial models to support scenario planning, long-range forecasting, and valuation work.
- Deliver high-quality monthly reporting and dashboards — highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Track, interpret, and provide insight into SaaS metrics, including ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn, retention, and NRR.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Operations to drive accountability and alignment on financial goals.
- Support M&A activity, including financial modelling, diligence support, and post-deal integration.
- Drive improvements in FP&A systems, reporting tools, and automation to scale with business growth.
- Assist in preparing materials for the board, investors, and senior management.
Key Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years’ experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or transaction services.
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling and Excel.
- Proven experience working with SaaS metrics and business models — ideally in a SaaS, tech, or recurring revenue environment.
- Deep understanding of key SaaS KPIs (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, NRR, etc.) and their commercial implications.
- Experience in a high-growth and/or PE-backed business is advantageous.
- Ability to distil complex data into actionable insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Financial qualification (or part-qualified) such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and commercial acumen.
