Retail Deployment Project Coordinator - Hybrid

Our client, a market leader in technology rollouts for the retail and hospitality sector, is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Retail Deployment Project Coordinator to join their growing operations team in Altrincham.

This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who thrives in a structured, project-driven environment and enjoys balancing customer relationships with deployment schedules. You'll play a key part in delivering high-volume installation programmes for major UK brands in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and retail space.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor technology rollouts across customer sites (50-500 locations per project)
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates to clients, ensuring clear communication of progress and expectations
  • Manage project trackers, deployment schedules, stock forecasting, and reporting activities
  • Support the transition from pilot deployments to full-scale rollout
  • Handle customer queries and ensure prompt, professional resolution
  • Ensure internal processes align with client delivery requirements
  • Liaise with installation teams, monitor site reports, and uphold quality standards
  • Provide accurate updates to the finance team for billing and reporting purposes

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a project coordination or customer-facing operations role
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and client portfolios
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail, and proactive mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence handling time-critical tasks and adapting to shifting priorities
  • Strong customer service ethic and commercial awareness
  • Good working knowledge of Excel for task and schedule tracking

Desirable:

  • Experience working on retail technology or EPOS deployments
  • Familiarity with IT hardware, software basics, or installation terminology
  • Exposure to working with finance teams on PO/invoicing workflows
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving technology or start-up environment
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUPs, IF statements)
