PLM Project Manager
Copello Global are seeking an experienced PLM Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a Teamcenter PLM and Siemens NX programme for a complex engineering-led organisation based in Oxfordshire on an initial 6 month contract.
The contractor will be responsible for driving PLM improvements, developing delivery roadmaps, and implementing efficiencies that support both current operations and future business growth.
This is a hands-on delivery role requiring deep PLM knowledge, strong project governance, and the ability to work confidently with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and IT.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of PLM projects with a focus on Teamcenter PLM and Siemens NX
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies
- Define and maintain PLM roadmaps to drive system improvement and future capability
- Identify, design, and implement process and system efficiencies to support ongoing and future business operations
- Review existing PLM systems and conduct requirements gathering across business functions
- Translate business and engineering requirements into clear project scope and delivery plans
- Manage cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT
- Act as the key liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and system integrators
- Track risks, issues, and actions, ensuring proactive mitigation and resolution
- Provide regular progress updates to senior stakeholders and governance forums
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering PLM projects in a Project Manager capacity
- Strong hands-on experience with Teamcenter PLM (essential) and Siemens NX (highly desirable)
- Excellent understanding of the product lifecycle from concept through production and support
- Background in automotive, engineering, or manufacturing environments
- Demonstrable experience reviewing existing PLM solutions and gathering and documenting requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable working with cross-functional and technical teams
- Highly organised, delivery-focused, and able to manage multiple workstreams

This role is inside IR35 and offering a rate of £550 - £750 dependant on experience.
The role will require candidates to be onsite 3-4 days for the first couple of weeks of the assignment, then role will provide hybrid working.
