Business Application Support Analyst

Escone Solutions supports and implements various 3rd party finance software solutions across several well-established organisations and is looking for a new Business Applications Support Analyst to join our team.

The role will be full-time and Aberdeen based but occasional travel may be required to client sites around the UK and Ireland.

Within this role, your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and resolve application support tickets via the help desk (Escone Assist).
  • Ensure that agreed-on client SLAs and KPIs are met via the help desk (Escone Assist).
  • Collaborate closely with the support team.
  • Test system changes and document test plans.
  • Liaise with 3rd party software providers when additional support is required.
  • Adhere to change control process and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with creating project documentation i.e., issues logs, status updates etc.

Desirable Experience

  • An understanding of Finance and Accounting.
  • Experience working with or supporting iplicit, Sage and OpenAccounts.
  • Software experience with a focus on business applications.
  • Experience developing test plans.
  • Experience in the full life cycle of software development.
  • Experience in managing change
