Consulting Director Data Governance ( Insurance)
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for driving the commercial expansion of the consultancy’s insurance client base, including:
- Leading client origination, account development and executive‐level relationship management
- Shaping and contributing to proposals, RFP responses and client presentations, including solution and delivery approach definition
- Pricing engagements, managing commercials and delivering against revenue and margin targets
- Acting as the senior client representative, addressing commercial, delivery and technical matters at an executive level
You will mobilise and lead high‐performing teams, ensuring delivery quality, technical integrity and client satisfaction remain central to every engagement.
As a senior leader, you will set the bar for commercial discipline and technical excellence — mentoring future leaders and fostering a culture where strong engineering practices underpin client trust and sustainable growth.
You will also contribute to strategic planning, service development and the ongoing evolution of the consultancy’s insurance propositions.
Skills and Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in a recognised technology consultancy, with significant exposure to insurance clients
- Proven track record in originating, selling and growing consulting engagements in complex enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of modern data and cloud architectures, including data platforms, integration, streaming, governance and security
- Experience working alongside architects and engineering teams to shape viable, scalable client solutions
- Familiarity with cloud and data ecosystems such as Databricks and/or Confluent
- Comfortable engaging with CTOs, Chief Architects and senior engineering stakeholders

- Executive‐level written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to bridge business, technology and delivery perspectives
- Comfortable operating within complex, regulated client environments
- Experienced in international and hybrid working contexts
