Senior Data Analyst
Up to £50,000 for full time, pro-rata if part time
Flexible hybrid-working set up, some London office presence needed but can be flexible around this being weekly / fortnightly / monthly / quarterly as preferred
We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to lead data management, reporting, and analysis across the organisation. You’ll be the go-to expert for data processes, governance, and insight — helping the organisation become truly data-driven.
What you’ll do as the Data Analyst:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports from multiple sources (SQL Server, Excel, Google Analytics, finance & grant systems).
- Write and optimise SQL queries to ensure accuracy and integrity of data.
- Champion best practice in data governance, security, and reporting processes.
- Present insights and trends to senior management and staff.
What is required for the Senior Data Analyst role:
- Strong SQL skills and proven experience in data warehouse environments.
- Advanced Power BI expertise (Power Query, DAX, Desktop, Service).
- Exceptional mathematical skills
- Ability to translate complex needs into clear, engaging reports.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Proactive, self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have skills / experience for the Senior Data Analyst role:
- Experience with finance, grants, or learning management systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps (SharePoint, Lists, Planner, Power Automate).
- Knowledge of data standards and integration approaches.
