IT Technician
Job Purpose: To provide technical support, system maintenance, and IT solutions to ensure the smooth and secure operation of the companys technology infrastructure and client-facing systems. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, and systems. Provide first- and second-line support to staff and clients, diagnosing and resolving technical issues. Monitor and maintain network security, data backups, and system performance. Set up accounts, user access, and permissions in line with company policies. Support the rollout of new applications, systems, and IT projects. Document IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and technical solutions. Liaise with third-party providers and vendors for IT services and procurement. Train staff on systems, software, and IT best practices. Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards. Contribute to continuous improvement of IT systems and services. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an IT Technician, IT Support Engineer, or similar role. Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, operating systems, and security. Familiarity with server administration, cloud platforms, and Microsoft Office 365. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Relevant IT qualifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent) preferred. Salary: £41,700 per annum (as per Skilled Worker route requirements). Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
