Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in financial message formats , particularly IDOC and EDIFACT . The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth integration, migration, and validation of financial messaging systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to capture and document requirements related to financial messaging.
• Message Format Expertise: Analyze, validate, and design solutions involving IDOC and EDIFACT file formats.
• Integration Support: Collaborate with developers and integration teams to ensure accurate mapping and transformation of financial messages.
• Testing & Validation: Support QA/UAT teams by preparing test cases, validating message flows, and ensuring compliance with financial standards.
• Documentation: Create functional specifications, process flows, and mapping documents for financial messaging.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements and automation opportunities in financial messaging workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–8 years of Business Analyst experience in financial services or enterprise integration.
• Strong knowledge of IDOC and EDIFACT formats.
• Experience with financial messaging standards
• Familiarity with integration tools
• Hands-on experience in requirements documentation, gap analysis, and functional specifications .
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
