Base salary as published, achievable bonus adding 50%. No cap on new biz sales.
The client and bigger picture
Our client is a leader in environmental intelligence with a platform that enables customers (many in finance) to get ahead of climate risks and energy trends that affect commodity supply and prices.
They have won multiple awards for their tech and have global reach within governments, corporate and particularly in finance. They have strong product market fit, and have been through various VC rounds.
With the continued growth of a small, high functioning UK sales team, we are hiring for a new position in the London office, reporting into a senior sales leader, that will represent the business' products to traders, asset managers and hedge funds, amongst others.
NB - Please only apply to this job if you are adept at jumping between all phases of the sales cycle, including strong lead nurturing and generation. Finance exposure a bonus but not essential. More importantly you'll be very comfortable with a data led sell, as well as presenting the big picture to clients of how the product can take their business forward.
Big tech / scale up experience could work but having some start up hussle is definitely required.
The role
- Manage a busy pipeline of opportunities with most deals sub £100k ARR
- Generate your own pipeline, as well as taking on MQLs (some good inbound)
- Develop true client understanding and the ability to convey trends and requirements to the product team
- As well as new biz, you will cross and upsell from existing accounts (you will take over a book of business)
- Run your pipeline in synch with other UK and European sales heads

- A blend of hunter and farmer – you know how to open doors but also how to deepen good customer relationships
- Creative, ambitious, curious and commercially savvy
- Entrepreneurial mindset to open new markets (support from seniors available)
- Background in SaaS, data or analytics
