Offline Programmer

Offline Programmer (Hypermill) – Birmingham (Office-Based)

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum
Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 07:00–16:00
• Friday: 07:00–13:00

We are looking for an experienced Offline Programmer to join our Birmingham-based team in an exclusively office-based role. Working closely with both production and engineering, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality CNC machining through expert Hypermill programming.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CNC programs using Hypermill software
• Work with engineers, machinists, and production teams to optimise tooling and machining strategies
• Review and interpret technical drawings and 3D models
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across machining operations
• Provide technical input to reduce cycle times and improve workflow efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Offline Programmer
• Hypermill experience is essential
• Must live within the Birmingham area or reasonable daily commute
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Positive, collaborative attitude

What We Offer

• Competitive salary up to £50,000
• Circa 20 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays (28 days total)
• Early Friday finish at 1pm
