Data Manager

Data Manager

London

Up to £60,000

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on Data Manager role joining a business at a key point in its data and systems transformation. With a major Microsoft Dynamics implementation underway, the focus is on bringing clarity, structure, and trust to data — ensuring it is clean, compliant, and actively used to support decision-making.

The role blends data governance, CRM ownership, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, and will suit someone who enjoys operating at the centre of the business rather than in a purely technical silo.

The Role & Responsibilities:

  • Own data quality, governance, and integrity across the organisation
  • Play a key role in a Microsoft Dynamics CRM migration, including data audit, cleanse, and migration decisions
  • Work with external partners and internal teams to deliver a successful CRM and data project
  • Act as Data Protection Officer (DPO), ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies
  • Define and maintain data processes and standards to support consistent data capture and use
  • Build and manage centralised reporting and dashboards, primarily in Power BI
  • Deliver actionable insights across customer, sales, operational, and financial data
  • Support forecasting, modelling, and forward-looking analysis where appropriate
  • Improve data literacy through user training and ongoing support
  • Act as the link between business stakeholders, IT, and third-party partners to prioritise data needs
  • Support ongoing optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics and related integrations

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly CRM and customer data
  • Proven background in data management, governance, and data quality
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and strong Excel capability
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data extraction from CRM systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft data and integration tools (Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, PowerApps)
  • Experience delivering data migration or CRM transformation projects
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset, able to translate data into action
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
