Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Total Risk Management (TRM) approach across a multi-project programme
  • Lead and facilitate risk workshops, ensuring clear parameters and consistent application of risk processes
  • Manage programme level risk reporting, risk logs, modelling (including SQRA), KPIs and trend analysis
  • Coordinate with planning and cost teams to produce integrated risk models
  • Monitor compliance with risk processes and drive a culture of proactive risk mitigation
  • Identify emerging risks and influence leaders on appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Support continuous improvement and share best practice across the wider PMO
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment, clarity and strong engagement

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience delivering or managing risk within large, complex capital projects or multi-disciplinary programmes
  • Strong understanding of project and programme risk management best practice
  • Experience running whole programme risk processes from concept through to delivery
  • Proficient with risk tools (e.g., ARM) and confident in analysing risk and performance data
  • Skilled in producing high quality, actionable risk reporting
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to challenge constructively and influence behaviours
  • Strong analytical, IT and systems capability

Desirable:

  • Experience coaching senior stakeholders and supporting organisational risk maturity
  • Background in EPC, large scale infrastructure or other highly regulated or complex environments
  • Experience navigating commercial and contractual challenges in major programmes

Why Apply:

  • Competitive salary with negotiable banding
  • Car allowance and annual bonus
  • Private healthcare and generous pension
  • Hybrid working and flexible benefits
  • Opportunity to shape a risk function within a high-profile, long-term capital investment programme
