About the role The Migration Support Technician plays a key role in supporting the setup and execution of IT device refresh activities. This includes preparing the Refresh Clinic, managing device logistics, refreshing laptops, updating workflow systems, and assisting with stock control. The technician will work under the supervision of the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager and must hold valid SC clearance due to the sensitive nature of the work environment.Tell me more, tell me more... Below are the job details for your reference:You can also ask our friendly recruitment team for any questions you may have about the role, between 09.00am till 17.00pm Monday to Friday.Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)Location: Wittering - Peterborough Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Contract Duration: 7th November 2025 till 25th November 2025 Roles and Responsibilities:

• Set up the Refresh Clinic in accordance with project specifications.
• Move the required quantity of devices from onsite storage to the Refresh Clinic as instructed.
• Log into systems using contractor-provided devices under supervision.
• Perform laptop refresh procedures as directed.
• Accurately update the Contractor's workflow management system at all relevant steps.
• Seek guidance from the Post Migration Technical Support Specialist and Site Manager when needed.
• Assist in conducting daily manual stock checks and report findings.
• Help secure all devices in the onsite storage location at the end of each day.

Other stuff we're potentially looking for:

• Valid Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory.
• Experience in IT hardware handling and refresh processes.
• Ability to follow structured instructions and work collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
• Basic technical proficiency with laptops and system login procedures.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Physically capable of handling and moving IT equipment safely.

• A per hour, in-scope IR35, of £19.38/hr (PAYE) OR £25.15/hr (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
