An opportunity for you to join as Finance Director UK & Europe based in West Yorkshire, you'll take full ownership of financial operations across a complex, project-led environment. You'll be at the heart of the business managing a growing Finance team, whilst partnering with senior leaders, project teams, and operations to drive performance, manage risk, and shape strategic decision-making from bid stage through to delivery.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role for a finance leader who wants to drive strategy, business operations and growth (organic & M&A).
What you'll be doing
- Lead the UK finance function, covering reporting, compliance, and controls
- Own project and commercial accounting, improving cost, margin, and cashflow visibility
- Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Provide real-time financial insight to guide projects from quote to completion
- Lead audits, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Support M&A activity, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and team capability
What we're looking for
- Based in West Yorkshire
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Senior finance leadership experience in a project-led business
- Track record of confidently in making Commercially minded strategic plans and decisions
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders across creative, technical, and operational teams
- Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Some PE experience is desirable but not essential
