A fast-growing, VC-backed SaaS startup is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join their commercial team and drive new business growth. The company has developed innovative AI-driven bid writing software, already supporting enterprise clients across the construction and facilities management sectors, and has ambitious plans for continued expansion.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in building the client base, focusing on generating leads, booking qualified demos, and helping enterprise-level businesses adopt this market-leading platform. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a hands-on, target-driven role where success will be measured by delivering 5-10 qualified demo meetings per month.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

  • Generate your own pipeline of leads and opportunities within the construction and facilities management sectors
  • Proactively engage prospects through outreach, networking, and other business development methods
  • Book and qualify demo meetings with enterprise-level clients across the UK
  • Convert initial conversations into sales opportunities and support the sales cycle through to close
  • Build strong relationships with clients; account management may be included depending on your strengths and performance
  • Work remotely with a collaborative team, attending mandatory monthly team meetings in Central London

Business Development Manager Requirements:

We're looking for a determined, ambitious individual who is keen to build a career in sales. Previous sales experience is welcome but not essential. What matters most is drive, resilience, and a willingness to learn.
