The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in shaping ELI and other innovative solutions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements that drive value for our clients.
What you’ll be doing
As a Business Analyst you will:
- Lead requirements discovery through workshops, interviews, and analysis with insurer and internal stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with business objectives.
- Map as-is and to-be processes, identifying automation opportunities and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with developers and testers on data flows, API contracts, and test coverage.
- Support backlog refinement and prioritisation, ensuring stories are ready for sprint planning.
- Contribute to UX validation and user journey mapping to ensure intuitive solutions.
- Communicate progress, risks, and impacts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software or digital product delivery.
- Strong requirements elicitation and story writing skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and ideally SAFe practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled products or data-driven solutions.
- Awareness of Azure services, particularly Azure AI/OpenAI.
- Experience with insurance or legal processes.
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops for capturing epics, features and user stories.
- Understanding of API design and basic technical concepts.
