Role: Infrastructure Engineer

Location: South West (Hybrid – 1 day per week in office)

Salary: Up to £40,000 + bonus

Our client, a leading IT services provider, is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to deliver high-quality technical support across their client base. This role is predominantly Helpdesk-focused, with the opportunity to engage in occasional project work and regional site visits when required.

What you’ll do

• Provide 2nd/3rd line Helpdesk support to a range of clients
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain modern network infrastructure
• Support Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, and Intune/Entra ID
• Deliver remote and onsite technical assistance, ensuring excellent customer service
• Assist with project delivery and technical assessments as needed

You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing IT solutions that make a tangible difference to end users.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure and Helpdesk support (2nd/3rd line)
• Strong understanding of modern networking principles (DNS, DHCP, routing, IP subnetting)
• Experience supporting and optimising secure network environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure/Entra ID
• Familiarity with web filtering, email protection, and backup technologies
