Jackson Barnes Recruitment is working with a well-established, internationally recognised events organisation to recruit a Sponsorship Sales Manager for a flagship international technology conference and a large-scale European event. This opportunity offers responsibility over highly successful and commercially significant events.
The Opportunity
This role will take ownership of sponsorship and exhibition revenue for two major large-scale events that attract leaders from across the globe. You’ll be selling into a mature, proven product with strong brand recognition, existing accounts, and clear revenue potential.
While sales performance is the core focus, the position also involves close collaboration with internal marketing and delivery teams to ensure partners receive maximum value from their involvement.
You must have a proven track record of managing and successfully delivering full rebooking campaigns for events.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the end-to-end commercial sales process, from prospecting through to deal close
- Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with sponsors and exhibitors
- Creating bespoke proposals and negotiating commercial packages
- leading event rebook campaigns
- Managing pipeline, forecasting, and reporting using CRM and sales enablement tools
- Working closely with marketing to align campaigns and partner messaging
- Coordinating with operations to ensure sponsor deliverables are executed to a high standard
- Contributing insights to support the wider growth strategy of the event
Candidate Profile
This role will suit a confident, target-driven sponsorship sales professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international events environment. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and balancing new business with account growth.
Ideal experience includes:
- B2B sponsorship and exhibition sales experience
- International events experience
- Demonstrated success in managing and delivering rebooking campaigns for sponsors and exhibitors
- A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in negotiating commercial agreements
- Confident using technology, CRM and business social media
