Product Owner

Contract BA/PO | Outside IR35 | Hybrid - London

I'm recruiting for an experienced BA turned Product Owner (or BA with Product experience) to drive product innovation and change within a specialist insurance firm. If you thrive in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment and excel at transforming strategic vision into actionable requirements, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.

• Impact: Own the requirements lifecycle for core product value streams (Policy, Claims, Rating).
• Focus: Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Methodology: Work primarily within Agile frameworks, defining clear User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Analysis & Requirements: Lead the elicitation, definition, and validation of complex product requirements.
• Agile Enablement: Collaborate directly with developers and testers to refine stories and ensure successful delivery.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key analytical contact, ensuring alignment and managing sign-off processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion best practices and contribute to the prioritization and smooth delivery of high-value initiatives.

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner/Analyst in a technical environment.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Exceptional logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities across technical and business functions.
