About the Role
As part of the Transformation function, the Transformation Lead will focus on hands‐on delivery, effective stakeholder engagement, and embedding change that delivers measurable and sustainable outcomes. Working in partnership with the business, business agility teams, technology, and transformation specialists, the Transformation Lead ensures that transformation activity is well governed, inclusive, and aligned to organisational goals.
The role will initially focus on overseeing the investment and business outcomes of initiatives such as the Submission Intelligence Tool (SIT), which streamlines underwriting and operational workflows through automation. These tools enhance accuracy, reduce turnaround times, and free teams to focus on higher‐value activities while supporting organisational aims around efficiency, compliance, and improved customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership
- Manage delivery of transformation initiatives or workstreams within agreed scope, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure business readiness and provide input into planning processes.
- Create and maintain roadmaps, value-drop milestones, and manage dependencies.
- Coordinate day‐to‐day delivery activities, including cross-team planning.
- Remove blockers/impediments, including collaboration with teams outside of delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies and practices.
- Work closely with working groups to clarify business requirements and maintain alignment across workstreams.
Change Management & Engagement
- Design and implement change plans (impact assessments, readiness, adoption, sustainment).
- Create clear stakeholder and communication plans using structured change methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Agile).
Stakeholder & Business Partnering
- Build productive working relationships with key stakeholders, teams, and support functions.
- Work with initiative sponsors to ensure strong leadership and effective delivery.
- Manage prioritisation of change and communicate impacts, cost of delay, and feasibility considerations.
Governance & Reporting
- Provide accurate reporting on initiative progress, benefits, risks, and issues.
- Maintain governance artefacts, decision logs, and highlight reports to required standards.
- Support prioritisation and resource allocation across workstreams.
Process & Tools
- Contribute to the development and adoption of delivery tools, templates, and best‐practice playbooks.
- Support capability-building activities across the function.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable delivery plans and milestones.
Skills and Experience
- Proven track record delivering change/transformation projects in complex or regulated environments.
- Experience working with agile delivery teams and enabling business/technical value creation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Practical knowledge of change management practices and adoption techniques.
