The Data Coordinator role is a key position within the Data Management team, responsible for ensuring that data captured, maintained, and distributed across the firm is accurate, complete, and aligned with regulatory and business requirements. Working closely with colleagues across multiple departments, this role plays a vital part in supporting the firm's reporting, oversight, and operational processes.

The position involves managing and validating data from various internal systems, assisting with the preparation of internal and external reports, and responding to data-related queries. Attention to detail and a methodical approach are essential, as the role contributes directly to the integrity and reliability of the firm's information.

Responsibilities

· Source, enter, and validate data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

· Monitor data quality and flag discrepancies or issues for review.

· Support the preparation and submission of regulatory data and returns.

· Maintain and update data sources that feed into the corporate website and other publications.

· Prepare and check marketing and operational reports to ensure accuracy before release.

· Contribute to system testing activities by reviewing data and validating results.

· Respond to ad-hoc data requests promptly and accurately.

· Assist in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy within data processes.

· Work collaboratively across teams to support the smooth flow and integrity of information.

· Assist in the preparation of management information and reports for internal and external use.

· Uphold data governance and information security standards, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality.

Experience

This is an entry-level position requiring at least one year of relevant experience – professional, academic, or otherwise – demonstrating strong attention to detail and proficiency in data entry and validation.

Additionally, some experience within the financial or another regulated industry is preferred.

Required Skills

These skills represent the minimum requirements for the role.

Technical:

· Advanced-level ability in Excel, able to interpret, clean, and manipulate data.

· Good understanding of data accuracy, consistency, and validation principles across large data sets.

· Confidence handling numerical information, applying logical reasoning and calculations.

· Some knowledge of data governance principles, with a focus on information security.

Interpersonal:

· Professionalism, integrity, and respect for confidentiality in handling data.

· Strong stakeholder management and team-working ability.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Supplementary Skills

These skills are not mandatory, but they would complement the role.

· Microsoft Access, primarily on front-end familiarity.

· Power BI, or other forms of data visualisation and reporting.

· SQL, including an understanding of database concepts or experience working with structured data.

· Other Microsoft Office application experience, such as PowerPoint or Visio.

· Knowledge of fund management, transfer agency, investment operations, or ACD services.
