IT Category Team Leader
Our client, a prominent organisation within the technolody sector is currently seeking an IT Category Team Leader to join their team.
This is hybrid role inside IR35
Key Responsibilities:- Leading and managing the IT category team to deliver optimised procurement solutions
- Developing and implementing IT category strategies to ensure value for money and efficiency
- Overseeing the procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement activities accordingly
- Managing supplier relationships to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement
- Conducting market analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and innovations
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with IT procurement
- Experience in IT category management, with a proven track record of delivering successful procurement outcomes
- Strong procurement skills, including contract negotiation and supplier management
- Understanding of procurement processes, policies, and best practices
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
