Lead Data Solutions Architect – Glasgow Hybrid (3 days in the office) - £90,000 - £100,000 + Bonus & Benefits Meraki Talent’s global financial client is actively looking for a Lead Solutions Architect to join them in Glasgow for a newly formed team across global transactions building out central capabilities across a number of data platforms. This team looks after 3 main pillars – Data Modernisation, Data Service and AI & ML analytics. You will lead the design and development of a new, innovative products, collaborating with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, and design and implement solutions to meet these business requirements across all 3 pillars. This is a lead level role which will involve the leading a small team of engineers across project deliverables. This role will suit someone looking to remain hands on with Architecture as well as the opportunity to lead a team. Experience
- Seasoned Solutions Architect with proven experience designing, securing, and scaling data platforms and solutions.
- Experience in one or more of the three main pillars - Data Modernisation, Data Service or AI & ML analytics.
- Skilled across the wider architecture space including understanding of cloud architecture, microservices architecture, AI and event-driven design.
- Public Cloud experience in ideally AWS or Azure.
- Experience leading a transformation project or platform migration project.
- Breadth of experience across a wide variety of products and tools. The following is to give you an idea of the environment – Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks, Lakehouse, Fabric, MongoDB, AWS/Azure, Astronomer, Power BI etc.
