Temporary ERP Specialist / Demand Planner

We are seeking a Temporary ERP Specialist / Demand Planner to support procurement and supply chain operations within the manufacturing industry. This role is based in Mountain Ash and requires expertise in ERP systems and demand planning to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain processes.

Description

* Manage day-to-day demand planning for the US market to ensure accurate forecasting and supply continuity

* Maintain and update planning data using advanced Excel tools and spreadsheets* Use SAP/ERP systems to manage MRP, planning cycles and data accuracy* Support the transition of planning processes from Excel into the ERP system* Collaborate with Warehouse, Engineering, Customer Service and other operational teams to resolve planning related issues* Provide planning support during a key transition period* Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with high expectations for accuracy and timely output* Ensure alignment with MRP requirements and escalate risks, shortages or variances as required

Profile

A successful Temporary ERP Specialist / Demand Planner should have:

• Proven experience with ERP systems in a procurement or supply chain context.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of SAP essential. (SAP Business 1 knowledge is highly desirable).
• Technical, IT skill set and advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of demand planning processes within the life science industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
