About the Company
Our client is a well-established, multi-brand organisation operating in the consumer travel sector. Renowned for delivering market-leading experiences and prioritising sustainability, they are investing in data and analytics to drive growth and improve customer experience.
They are now seeking a Insights Analyst to join their Marketing and Ecommerce function and help turn data into actionable business insight.
Role Overview
As an Insights Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analysing complex data and turning it into actionable insights that influence marketing strategy, ecommerce performance, and overall business decisions.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Digital, Marketing, and Ecommerce, acting as the organisation's data champion to ensure reporting and analytics are accurate, consistent, and trusted.
Key Responsibilities

Analyse the full customer journey from first touchpoint to conversion, identifying channel performance and optimisation opportunities.

Use data to evaluate website behaviour and customer interactions to enhance experience and increase conversion.

Build, maintain, and present dashboards, reports, and visualisations using tools such as Power BI.

Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insight for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Develop and maintain automated data pipelines and self-serve reporting tools to enable timely, data-driven decisions.

Manage Google Tag Manager, ensuring accurate tracking and analytics across platforms.

Benchmark performance against market and competitor data to provide context and actionable recommendations.

Develop forecasts and segmentation analyses to support strategic initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data and reporting with business priorities while championing data governance and quality.

Serve as the go-to analytics specialist for Marketing and Ecommerce, providing insight and ad hoc support as required.
Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in a data or analytics role, ideally within digital, ecommerce, or marketing environments.

Strong ability to integrate and consolidate data from multiple sources.

Hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL.

Knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, session replay tools, call tracking platforms, and paid media platforms.

Excellent communicator capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.

Commercially minded with a strong focus on driving business performance.

Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple reporting deadlines.

Experience with experimentation, multi-variant testing, or AI/ML for marketing insight is desirable.
