Our client is a market leader in the Security Systems Integration sector, with almost 50 years' experience of delivering security solutions for high-security, public space, transport, and infrastructure projects throughout the UK and Ireland.
They are now seeking to recruit and experienced Field Service Engineer to complement their established and successful team, tasked with dealing with daily fault requests, PPM duties and out of hours reactive duties for large scale, high end integrated systems from a broad client base and to look after the daily tasks involved in keeping an important site safe and secure.
With a flexible approach to staying away as required and with a 'can do' attitude to ensure the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction, you will work as part of a team of Field Service Engineer professionals who work remotely but who can all offer guidance and support when required with their strong technical background. The position is ideal for someone looking for a varied, dynamic role often dealing with large scale systems incorporating new technologies within a demanding customer base.
Key responsibilities for this varied and challenging role will include (but not be limited to):
- Providing a reliable, courteous, efficient, and effective service whilst maintaining a positive image of the company to the customer, through high standards of dress and customer communications, and after successful completion of each service, updating the helpdesk with the call status
- Providing day to day planned preventative and reactive maintenance and repair of the complex Analogue and Digital CCTV Systems on a high security site in Central London (so security clearance will need to be obtained), as well as associated functional and managed control rooms and multi-site Access Control Systems and Perimeter Detection Systems
To be considered for this unique Field Service Engineer opportunity with our market leading client, it is envisaged the successful candidate will demonstrate sound knowledge of CCTV, IT and PID Systems on varying scales, as well as Access Control systems with Site Mustering and DVR & NVR systems. Knowledge or experience of PID's, Galaxy Alarms, Cortech GUI, CEM, C-Cure and Gallagher Access Control systems, Synergy, Milestone, Video Matrix Systems, IP Systems and Networks and Raid Recording will prove distinctly advantageous.
