They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated apprentice to support their busy team. They are looking for candidates with a keen interest in working within a busy office environment learning business processes and supporting their operational teams with administration tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and correspondence from clients and supplies.
- Triage enquiries and route them to the relevant departments or individuals when required.
- Become a system expert in our core platforms: NetSuite Oracle (ERP) and Salesforce (CRM).
- Monitor stock levels on NetSuite Oracle to ensure customer orders can be fulfilled.
- Maintain and accurately update customer records on Salesforce in a timely manner, ensuring data integrity.
- Conduct research to support the operational team with project and client needs.
- Manage sample handling within the order management process.
- Independently manage assigned projects aligned with skill level.
- Create, edit, and format documents using Microsoft Office tools.
- Organise and file both digital and physical documents in line with company procedures.
You will develop skills including:
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- An ability to work using own initiative within boundaries.
- An ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities.
- Good team-working skills.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills, professional and articulate as many contacts do not have English as their first language.
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum direction.
- Able to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Strong IT skills, with a good understanding of Microsoft Office packages especially Excel.
- Qualifications at National 4 and National 5 or above.
Salary: £14,722.50 per annum.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
