- Contract: 6-month contract
- Location: Bedford, Hybrid (2 days in office per week- may be some flexibility on this)
- Salary: £200 per day via Umbrella
Join the User Centred Design team as an Administrative Assistant, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our products and services, focusing on users with the highest needs. This position does not require a background in research or design but demands a thoughtful and empathetic approach to participant support across various access needs. You will also provide high-quality administrative support to manage our user research panel effectively.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Communicate securely and efficiently with participants and recruitment partners using established processes.
- Be an integral part of a multidisciplinary product team working on high-profile projects like the MoneyHelper Pensions Dashboard (MHPD) and Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP).
- Assist in recruiting research participants, coordinating research sessions, maintaining records and documentation, and supporting both in-person and remote research sessions.
- Build and maintain relationships with partner organisations, including large pension providers and support organisations, to recruit potential participants.
- Manage sensitive records, ensuring GDPR compliance and secure document storage.
- Provide administrative support for recruitment, including scheduling meetings and research sessions, handling mail merges, and responding to queries.
- Engage with panel members, addressing their questions and supporting those with basic tech issues or access needs.
- Support site visits and continuous improvement to research operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in administrative support, panel management, and working with sensitive data.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and seek support when necessary.
- High level of attention to detail, especially in handling participant data, consent, and payments.
- Professional and empathetic communication style suitable for interacting with diverse research participants and stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination and collaboration across teams.
- Adaptability to learn new tools and processes and respond to changing research priorities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK to support in-person research sessions.
Desirable:
- Understanding of data protection and GDPR requirements.
- Experience in an agile delivery environment.
- Familiarity with participant panel or community management platforms (e.g., Participant Kit).
- Proficiency in using online scheduling tools (e.g., MS Bookings) and third-party digital reward platforms (e.g., Edenred).
