Our client is looking for a Client Account Manager to join their Business-to-Business (B2B) team within the Enterprise Service Management directorate. This pivotal role involves comprehensive management responsibilities for one or several principal government client accounts, reporting directly to the Head of B2B.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Manage client relationships to ensure service requirements are met within budget, service levels, and expectations.
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, and costs, ensuring invoicing is completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain transparency and compliance in cost and service delivery in line with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
  • Develop a deep understanding of services provided and contribute insights for service enhancement.
  • Act as the client's advocate within the organisation, ensuring all issues are resolved and changes are implemented efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Lead internal and external governance meetings, providing direction and leadership.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Collaborate with B2B Change and Risk colleagues to ensure all documentation is prepared and articulated accurately and on time.
  • Support operational forecasting of volumes/resource and associated costs for client accounts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of managing major client accounts and/or operational management.
  • Experience in working in different corporate cultures, preferably within an outsourced environment.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills to ensure senior level buy-in and delivery from clients, partners, and the business.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver change.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed service delivery standards while adhering to strict budgets and timelines.
  • Exceptional advocacy and communication skills.
  • Desirable: Experience in the financial services sector and understanding of government policies and procedures.
