Business Analyst - eTrading
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in eTrading to join our global Investment Bank clients IT Bonds team in London. This role involves direct interaction with business users, managing their requests, and working on projects to plan, test, and deliver new functionality to its E-Trading platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ION and financial instruments in the Fixed Income domain, particularly Bonds, and experience with regulatory subjects like MFID and MAD/MAR.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven project management skills and experience in IT for capital markets.
- Strong experience with Fixed Income Desks within an Investment Bank.
- Experience supporting a live eFI Trading environment is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with key stakeholders and training team members.
- Strong Knowledge of ION, Reuters, Bloomberg, and other relevant trading and broker systems.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, specify, and test new and enhanced products for various Capital Markets Product Lines, including Bonds, Structured Products, and the Inflation Desk within the D2C and D2D Market space.
- Capture functional needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Coordinate with the Quality Acceptance teams to test the eTrading platform.
- Conduct successful User Acceptance Tests (UATs) and manage change with end users.
- Ensure that developments align with the functional requirements and roadmap defined with sponsors.
- Comply with quality assurance policies and contribute to project management tasks.
- Integrate and evolve software components on the ION platform and coordinate with other delivery teams for in-house development.
