Finance Analyst - Reading (Hybrid)
£28,000-£32,000 + Bonus | Full-time | 1 Day WFH | Free Parking | Study Support
We're looking for an enthusiastic Finance Analyst to join a friendly, sociable, and vibrant team within a fast-growing tech company providing IT Support, Telecoms, and Cloud solutions to SMEs across the Thames Valley. You'll take ownership of day-to-day financial tasks and provide insights and analysis to support decision-making, while our external accountant manages Tax, VAT, and PAYE.
Key Responsibilities-
Manage daily financial tasks: invoicing, expenses, reconciliations

Prepare internal reports, dashboards, and financial analysis

Maintain accurate financial records & support month-end processes

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow analysis

Review data from external accountants and flag discrepancies

Support improvements to financial processes (Xero experience ideal)

Around 2 years' experience in finance, accounting, or analysis

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Solid understanding of accounting principles

Confident with Excel (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)

Experience with Xero preferred

Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
