HR Workday Change Manager - 6 months contract

We are seeking an experienced HR Workday Change Manager on a 6 months contract to lead change and communications for a major Workday implementation across the US region. This is a critical role in ensuring employees, managers, and HR teams are fully prepared for the transition to Workday.

As the Change Manager, you will design and deliver a comprehensive change strategy, create engaging communications, and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure smooth adoption. You will work closely with the Workday project team, HR leadership, and internal communications teams to deliver a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a robust change management strategy aligned with the Workday implementation timeline.
  • Conduct impact assessments and readiness checks across multiple Workday modules.
  • Create and deliver tailored communications campaigns for diverse audiences.
  • Partner with stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, and senior leadership to drive engagement.
  • Design and implement training strategies to support employees and managers.
  • Monitor adoption post-Go Live and implement reinforcement strategies.
  • Manage change-related risks, issues, and governance reporting.
Experience
  • Proven experience delivering change for Workday implementations in complex, global organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including influencing senior leaders.
  • Formal change management certification (PROSCI preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical detail into clear messaging.
  • Strong planning and project management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and processes, including Workday modules such as Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll.
