Robert Walters have partnered with a leading organisation who are in the middle of an enterprise-wide transformation. They are looking to scale their project teams to support in the transformation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on collaboration, values continuous improvement, and enjoys working at the heart of project governance and assurance.

What you'll do:

  • Compile, analyse, and challenge project data from multiple sources to prepare comprehensive portfolio status reports for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy in all communications.
  • Support the delivery and secretariat functions of change governance forums by preparing documentation, coordinating meetings, and ensuring compliance with organisational standards.
  • Conduct assurance reviews to verify that all project documentation aligns with established frameworks, maintaining high standards of quality across reporting activities.
  • Lead planning activities at both portfolio and project levels by tracking objectives, key milestones, dependencies, and managing Jira reporting and administration tasks efficiently.
  • Facilitate accurate forecasting and monitoring of resource effort and cost profiles to ensure alignment with plans while proactively addressing any variances or risks.
  • Assist Programme and Project Managers with the completion of essential documentation, approvals processes, records management, and maintenance of libraries supporting control processes.
  • Take ownership of stakeholder communication by coordinating updates for senior stakeholders, organising governance sessions, supporting cross-team collaboration via SharePoint, Viva Engage Teams, and dedicated meetings.

What you bring:.

  • Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 (or equivalent) is highly desirable as it demonstrates your commitment to industry best practices.
  • Experience as a PMO Analyst or similar position within a structured project management environment ensures you are comfortable navigating complex portfolios.
  • Proficiency with project management software including Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet or other portfolio management tools enables you to deliver accurate reporting efficiently.
  • A thorough understanding of both Waterfall and Agile frameworks allows you to adapt your approach according to each project's unique requirements.
  • Strong communication skills empower you to summarise complex data simply when presenting conclusions or recommendations to diverse audiences.
