Sales Account Executive - ITSM
Our Watford based client is a trusted global SaaS organisation providing integrated solutions to some of the world's most dynamic industries. With secure technology, robust compliance, and a people-first culture, they believe in translating complex, project based implementations into scalable, managed service offerings.
This role is to join a team of relationship builders that create lasting value: you will develop a strategic sales pipeline working closely with teams in marketing, products, partners and expert services. You will understand that sales is a cross functional activity, reliant on excellent stakeholder management and the ability to employ a consultative and value-based approach to technical sales.
The role
- To design and execute a smart, data-driven sales strategy that wins new clients
- Identify key accounts, uncover pain points, and show how my client's solutions deliver measurable business value.
- Build your own pipeline through a mix of outbound prospecting, social selling, and inbound engagement.
- Run compelling demos and workshops that align directly with customer goals and challenges.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder deals with a consultative, value-based approach from first contact to close.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and feed fresh market intelligence into marketing, product, and leadership.
The requirements:
- Proven experience selling managed services, outsourcing solutions, or service-led SaaS offerings
- Solid understanding of managed service business models and the principles of recurring value creation
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and build long-term client relationships
- Proficiency with CRM systems (such as HubSpot or Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales enablement tools
- A customer-first mindset - proactive, solution-focused, and an exceptional communicator
- The ability to take ownership and act decisively to deliver measurable results
- A working knowledge of ITSM or related service delivery frameworks is preferred but not essential
