Job Title: ForgeRock/PingID Developer
Location: Bristol or Edinburgh (3 days per week in the office)
Salary/Rate: Up to £523 per day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: 06/10/2025
Job Type: 6-month contract
We are seeking a ForgeRock/PingID Developer to play a key role in securing digital identities and access across global financial platforms. You will oversee the onboarding and verification of users with PingID for multi-factor authentication and ForgeRock for identity governance, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal security policies.
Responsibilities:- Facilitate onboarding of employees, contractors, and third-party users across global operations.
- Verify user identities in line with Know Your Employee (KYE) and compliance standards.
- Manage secure MFA enrolment and device registration with PingID.
- Configure and maintain role-based access controls (RBAC) and life cycle policies in ForgeRock.
- Support access reviews, certifications, and entitlement audits.
- Integrate ForgeRock with financial systems and internal platforms.
- Ensure IAM processes comply with regulatory frameworks (eg, SOX, GDPR, PSD2).
- Monitor authentication logs and respond to anomalies or access violations.
- Assist with internal and external IAM-related audits.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for PingID and ForgeRock issues.
- Troubleshoot MFA failures, provisioning errors, and identity sync problems.
- Collaborate with IAM engineering teams and vendor support on escalations.
- Develop onboarding guides, compliance checklists, and training materials.
- Deliver training sessions for new hires and support staff.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to the IAM knowledge base.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with PingID and ForgeRock in financial or large enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of IAM principles, MFA, SSO, and identity federation.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
- Understanding of financial compliance frameworks and audit practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Certifications in Ping Identity and/or ForgeRock technologies.
- Experience integrating IAM with financial systems and cloud platforms (eg, Azure AD, AWS).
- Scripting knowledge (eg, PowerShell, Python) and experience with RESTful APIs.
- Exposure to identity life cycle automation and governance tools.
