We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support professional to provide 1st and 2nd line support within a busy and growing environment based in Poole. You will work closely with the IT Manager, ensuring users receive a high-quality support service and that IT systems run smoothly.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to users across the business, both in person and remotely
  • Log, manage, and resolve support requests through the internal ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager where required
  • Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems
  • Assist with user account administration, system access, and security controls
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and common issues
  • Contribute to IT projects and system improvements as directed by the IT Manager
Skills & Experience Required:
  • IT graduate or equivalent experience in a technical support environment
  • Previous experience in an IT support role (1st or 2nd line) desirable
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, printers, and peripheral devices
  • Experience working with a ticketing/helpdesk system
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple requests
