IT Support Analyst – On-Site | Maldon, Essex (5 Days Per Week)

£35,000 p/a (negotiable, dependent upon experience)

We’re working with a highly innovative global technology organisation seeking a proactive IT Support Analyst to join their team in Maldon, Essex, working fully on-site Monday to Friday.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong 1st/2nd line experience who wants to develop their skills across infrastructure, cloud, security and systems administration within a modernising environment.

The Role

You will play a key part in supporting users across multiple global sites while helping to modernise and enhance the company’s IT landscape. Responsibilities include:

• Managing support tickets and providing hands-on desktop, laptop, server and network support
• Supporting and administering Azure Cloud and Hyper-V environments
• Working with Windows and Linux servers
• Managing Entra ID (Active Directory), Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and VLANs
• Performing daily system checks, monitoring alerts and responding to incidents
• Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
• Assisting with onboarding, device configuration and security checks
• Supporting the company’s ERP platform (including patching and security)
• Documenting technical solutions and contributing to internal knowledge bases

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• 2–3 years’ experience in IT support (1st/2nd line)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical mindset
• Solid understanding of Windows OS, Linux fundamentals and core networking
• Experience with Hyper-V, Windows Server, Entra ID/AD and Group Policy
• Knowledge of SQL or scripting/programming (Python desirable)
• Excellent communication and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a wider IT team

Desirable but not essential:

Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104) or ITIL Foundation.

Location & Working Pattern

• On-site, 5 days per week
• Based in Maldon, Essex
• Must have full right to work in the UK
