POSITION: Data systems developer

ASSIGNMENT NO: 29273

LOCATION: London/ Hybrid

Our client is seeking a highly skilled IT developer/engineer to work within an Actuarial team to develop high-quality, high-performance solutions to data storage, interrogation and analysis requirements. As a key member of the team, you will also be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external applications in collaboration with other multi-disciplinary teams.

• Design, develop, test and operate data storage workflows and solutions based on C++, C# and Python and/or other suitable languages
• Leverage Microsoft Power Platform technologies (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.) to build and enhance business process solutions
• Integrate SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with existing business systems and processes
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and documentation for all developed tools and workflows
• Design, develop, test, support and deploy custom web and mobile applications based on .NET (Blazor, C#), C++.
• Gather customer software requirements and develop related software applications and programs
• Design and develop testing and maintenance procedures and activities
• Develop and write high-quality coding standards
• Considerable and proven experience in Azure Cloud Services, e.g. Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Azure App Service
• Experience with Azure Blazer is a plus
• Experience in the reinsurance or insurance sectors is a plus
