Infrastructure Support Engineer
The Fortune group are recruiting for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our Fintech client covering 2nd / 3rd Line support to Microsoft Windows Infrastructure.
London / Hybrid - £55,000 - £65,000
- Working as part of the In House IT team, provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line end user support to colleagues across the Group but with a focus on the UK covering BAU and Project work.
- Sourcing, management and provision of laptops, peripherals, and other devices for colleagues and the office in the UK.
- Own the UK office network and internet connectivity ensuring an always-on reliable service to colleagues.
- Performing preventative maintenance, including daily/weekly checks.
- Support and participate in the timely delivery of IT projects and initiatives both within the UK and across the Group.
- Ensuring that records are kept in line with company policy.
- Keep internal documentations and knowledgebase up to date and accurate.
- Work with third party vendors to resolve issues where necessary
Essential:
- At least 5 years’ experience in the following areas:
- colleague facing IT support role.
- building, configuring, and deploying desktops and laptops.
- user account administration in Active Directory and/or Azure AD
- Strong understanding of core networking concepts including IPv4, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WiFi.
- Supporting of Windows Desktop & Windows Server, Active Directory, McAfeeAntivirus, Microsoft Office. O365
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft OS 7-10 and Windows Servers
- Cloud, AWS, Azure
- PowerShell, Windows Server & Hyper-V
- Firewalls, Switches and Wi-Fi solutions
- Backup and recovery solutions
- Cyber security solutions.
- Microsoft Intune
